0311 Thanks for bringing this important event to New Orleans. I look forward to sharing the city with others who enjoy bikes. I can't wait to read about how great the event was in the national mags (and perhaps seeing a pic of me and/or my girl in them)! But more importantly, I look forward to being agle to say that I was a part of this inaugural event. New Orleans welcomes and loves bikers, so come be a part of it! 4/13/09 12:38 PM
BWNO Thanks so much. We created this out of a labor of love. This happened out of a conversation 9 months ago with a former golf pro from City Park in New Orleans which was all but wiped out in Katrina. That led me to call 2 great friends in to help - Easyriders Events and Broken Spoke Saloon/Jay Allen. We all jumped right in and went to work - no questions asked. Immediatelty Coca Cola and Budweisier were all in. The came Southern Comfort and others... The convention center jumped on board and are great partners. The CVB has helped us tremendously as well as so many groups in the city and state. We made great friends with 2 great local companies - NOCCI great ladies who run world class festivals locally, and Faux Pas Prints who are great people and great event merchandisers. There are so many gerat people and stories which have helped us make this possible. Well the rest will be history and you can say you were there hen it all began. In the end, it is all about the motorcyclists - they make the rallies. The winners are all of us who get to help this great city and state..... 4/13/09 1:05 PM
